Independence For Me Daventry Ltd provide opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to learn whilst having fun.
We offer day centre social clubs Monday to Friday 9:30am – 3:30pm and we offer local pickups/drop offs in and around the Daventry area. We can offer 1:1 PA support, plus small group support and holiday clubs in the daytime, evenings, and at the weekend.
We are open all year, but close for bank holidays and Easter. We also close for two weeks over Christmas to ensure everyone gets a full break and comes back fresh and ready for the year ahead!
We try to offer at least 2 mini breaks each year and although COVID has proved very difficult with this in recent years, we are able to continue providing these fun breaks.
Individuals can participate in work experience, volunteering, allotment and garden maintenance, swimming and ‘aquafit,’ public transport, and participating in social and leisure activities within the local community. Activities will be tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring a bespoke service is provided. There is a daily charge to include refreshments.
